November 22 is fast approaching. For anyone who hasn't seen it, and for all those who have, Oliver Stone's JFK is a masterpiece of filmmaking. And despite many cries to the contrary, it is a meticulously researched and highly accurate portrayal of what went down in Dallas on a day that will live in infamy.

I will never forget that day. I had graduated from the U.S Army Intelligence School at Fort Holabird, Maryland, as a trained Counter Intelligence Officer and operative. With the cold war at it's height and the James Bond craze in full swing it was where the action and the adventure were and an exciting place to be. I was a Special Agent assigned too the 112th Intelligence Corp Group. I was stationed at the time in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dallas was also located in the 112ths military district so we were immediately put on alert and pulled into the investgation. It was a tragic, frightening, and chilling time - everything seemed surreal. I remember going to pick up my wife who was a nurse at the University Of Arkansas Medical Center and seeing the flag at half mast. The investigation was highly compartmentalized and I was on a very low level so I don't know any secrets. I don't remember Stone's film that well as it has been along time since I have seen it.but my personal opinion, and it is just a personal opinion, is that nobody will ever really know for sure what happened. The documentary that seems the most likely portrayal to me is " The Men Who Killed Kennedy" by The History Channel.
