Hey Friends,
For the past week I have gotten pretty serious about hand balancing. I have been practicing quite a lot and have been studying John's "Balance of Power" book and it has helped me quite a bit. It has really helped me learn the proper form and has helped me develop the strength to hold a handstand.
Using the information that is in "Balance of Power" I have been able to hold my handstands for at least five seconds on almost every kick. But sometimes I get into that perfect state of balance and can hold it for over ten seconds ( my most I have held it for is eighteen seconds). I have also got to where I can dip down a little and go back up ( I am hoping I can get to where I can do a freestanding handstand push-ups).
Anyway thanks for taking the time to read this and I can't wait for ya'll to see John's "Balance of Power". It is the best book I have EVER seen on hand balancing. Especially how it not only teaching you the proper form of a handstand, giving you a series of hand balancing exercises to help you develop the strength and balance to get into and hold a handstand, and it is extremely well written and very easy to understand. All the best my friends.
