Hi guys,

I want to make sure that everyone who was a heavy contributor on the old site gets the title they deserve.

If you had 100 posts or more on the old site, please leave a quick message here and I will reinstate your member title.

Basically, instead of you being a Junior Member you will be granted the new title of Legacy Member. This is a title that will only be given to those that had the required post count on the old site and will not be atainable on this new site.

I will be double checking to make sure each user did indeed have the required number of posts before this change is made.

To be perfectly honest I wasn't sure if I had over 100 or not, but I thought I would ask for a check seeing as i've been a member for a few years now.

My posts were at 1,010; I recall seeing that just the day before the changeover.

Also, could I be changed from "Junior Status" to "Legacy Member?"

Thanks, Cyle. :act-up:

I like this one.

Now I do want to change my screen name. I will drop you a PM to do that, will it affect my status?

Thanks!:act-up:

I know you've got PLENTY of better things to be doing but is there any way to change the join date?
I've been here for 5 years this month.
Thanks, Cyle

Cyle,
I was approaching 1000 posts over the course of 3 or 4 years of being on the forum. Could you work your magic to reflect that?
Thank you.

Hi Cyle,

Another Legacy member here please. Also, I can't seem to post a decent picture as an avatar. They all seem to come off looking fuzzy no matter how I do the resolution or size. Any suggestions?

Greg & Cyle,

Fuzzy photos are a help for me, you can leave mine fuzzy. I would like to have my old GB forum title back in place of GB_bronze though.

Make sure the avatar is 80x80px before uploading it and it will be as sharp as the uploaded image.

I can now be classifed as heavy and as someone belonging to a legacy category. I'm pretty sure I understand what you mean for being a heavy contributor-- i.e. someone who posts in the prodigious style of the prodigious poster (AKA Pierini). That's a good thing.

But a legacy poster? Let's see. Legacy. What does that mean? Out of date. No longer supported. I think I'll go for a Junior Member. Got a better title?

Hank

As defined by Websters:

Legacy is something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past <the legacy of the ancient philosophers

If you would rather have Junior member, that's fine by me. No one is forcing you to take on a title. It's just there if you want it.
