Nate,

You said in your new pull-up record thread that you used isometrics to break the plateau. Now I gotta ask you to elaborate on that for us!

Did you do exclusively isometrics for you workouts? CICs or IPFs? Or did you finish your power cal workout with them? Or start your workout with them? Or did you just do them throughout the day?

Fills us in, brother! Share the knowledge and experience!

I believe it is past the young man's bedtime, but, being the irritatingly careful listener that I am, I remember in the other thread that he wrote in reply to similar inquiry:

I used all of the Isometrics John has in his IPR book and still am. I didn't use any one Isometric specifically like said I used all of them. All the best.

I saw that "reply", Tom.

Nate's going to have to do better than that. What is that? Two sentences?! I want a full report! And I want it on my desk by tomorrow morning.

All right, Nate, you heard the man:

Five pages.
No. 2 pencil.
Don't write extra big just to fill up space.
No extra margins, only one inch top and left.
Footnotes.
MLA format.
Cite references.
No run-on sentences.
Every paragraph with a topic, body, and conclusion.
No over-usage of "friend" or "bottomline."
One "lol" and you flunk.

Hey Joe,

I didn't use just Isometrics for my workouts but they were my "bread and butter" of my routines. I also did a little bit of different Power Cals and some DVRS. But I really didn't do that many of the Power Flexes.

Also for what did I use first I have really have no idea. Like I have said before I don't really follow a set workout. Sometimes I would do power cals in the morning and at other time the Isometrics in the morning. Or I will do both throughout the day. It would and still does vary from day to day.

Over all the Isometrics did a great job with getting me over my little pull-up plateau. Which is exactly what John told me they would ( Just goes to show he knows exactly what he is talking about). Anyway if you have anymore questions go ahead and ask and I will do my best to answer. All the best and Merry Christmas.

P.S. Hey Tom thank for trying to sneak that little answer in there for my. But I guess it didn't quite work. All the best and Merry Christmas!
