Goal: 3000 pull-ups/chin-ups over the course of 28 days.

As you can see, I am doing a lot more chin-ups then pull-ups. This is because they are much easier for me to do back to back in days. I'm not really sure what my max is on them either, but I must be performing a good bit lower then max with them. I am trying to get more pull-ups in though but trying not to overtax myself. I will re-link the photos a bit later when I'm on the computer with the pics.

Thoguhts: Feeling good today, wish I had gotten more in yesterday but just ran out of time.

Nothing, it's Valentine's day. Had more important things to tend to!
Today:
3-10-3 = 94 pull-up's
3-8-3 = 58 chin-up's
Tot: 152
Grand Total: 1553
Thoughts: Things are going well, shame i missed another day, but it had to happen. Feeling good and ready for more tongiht, but going to rest so I can get a good pump tomorrow!

Thoughts:
Woo, another nice day, got some more of the numbers back and I'm feeling good. Looking forward to tomorrow. Hopefully Friday night plans won't get in the way of me at least maxing.

Thoughts: Ooops! I thought I was supposed to be on just chin-ups today for some reason. I will have to do some pull-ups tomorrow. I will be working on it tomorrow and getting a new max.

NEW MAX !!!! 14
3-11-3 = 115
plus max test =
129 total today.
I will do the math on where i'm at when I get back or tomorrow!
So from 12/17 the total was 133+ 12/19 for 129 = 262
Grand Total 1984

I'm sick!!!! This is no bueno. I couldn't do much yesterday and things def. are not improving too much, but i'm giving it a bit of a go. this is very frustrating as it's really messing with the numbers overall. Especially with being so freaking close! Hopefully I'll recover a bit and can keep building.

so shortly after I posted I ended up taking a nap. It felt really good and when I woke up I decided to do a workout. The intent was to take it slow and just see where it took me.
Today:
1-11-1 = 121pull-up's
3-8-3 = 58 chin-up's
tot = 179
Grand total:
Grand TOT = 2221 - this is including the 58 I did yesterday but didn't add the math up for.
Thoughts:
Ya know, it's really interesting to see my numbers so high. I'm pleased because there are 7 more days left in the month and unless the sickness drags me down too much, I shouldn't have too much of a problem meeting the goal.
I will be getting to bed extra early tonight as I want to go to work tomorrow and to keepe the numbers up. I think a quick run down says that I'll just need to hit 83 a day. However I will be doing more for a couple reasons.
1. I want to have some wiggle room in case something pops up.
2. I want to have a cushion of about 50 in case my math was bad somewhere.

Thoughts:
Well, still sick, still stayed home from work yet somehow I put my numbers up after another nap. VERY happy about it as it gets me all that much closer to my goal. It amazes me how strong my chins are at this point, will be great to keep getting my pull-up's there too.

Grand Total = 2400!!!!
6 days to get 600 in seems VERY doable right now. Hope you're all rooting for me! :-D

Happy to report that I made it into work today. Not so happy to report that I didn't hit the numbers i wanted to today. Just not enough energy. i did however get 1 ladder in, with current numbers below.
1-11-1 = 121 pull-up's
Tot = 121
Grand Total = 2521

Thanks for the word of encouragement Pastor Tim :) I'm certainly feeling like I will make it, sickness aside! I will admit though the sickness has had me not pushing as hard, which is really funny to me considering I'm putting up pretty decent numbers compared to where I was on Jan 1st.
The next few days should be interesting we're heading out of town for a mini-vacation with friends. I am going to take my pull-up bar with me so that I can get some in but I probably won't update until Sunday evening... suspense!

Can't say that I'm upset about this at all. I am very close. Hopefully someone can do the math to double check me. If not I will go through it a couple times just to make sure. Tomorrow will be the last day and I'm anticipating success!

Well hello and good day everyone.
I'm sure people are curious where I'm at, so I figured I would share a bit.
Today I have done another 1-11-1 set of Pull-up's. I also maxed out at 15, though a bit shaky. Overall I'm very pleased. By adding the 136 pull-up's I have officially done 3020 for the month of January!!!! I will post some more details and probably photos tomorrow. Until then, huzzah for me :-D
So, decided to add in somemore and did a small chin-up ladder of 1-7-1 adding another 49, for a new grand total of 3069 :)

So to update a couple things,
My final weight? 140lbs even. This is w/o tryign to lose weight, it just sort of dropped off, very exciting!
My current photos are below, they're a bit dark since i took them w/o a flash as I didn't want to wake the wife at 5:45 in the morning before I went to work. If people have questions I am happy to answer.
