Here in Chicago, there has been an ongoing story about a professor at Northwestern University....YES...the Northwestern University.....having a 'live sex' demonstration in his class....as an academic study of the female orgasm. I won't go into the details that local TV has gone into.....but it involved a male, a 'sex toy' and a naked female begin brought to orgasm.

Education vs. pornography....hmmm......sometimes one in the same, I guess.

Sure, he's sorry. There was talk of taking away his tenure.

Then we have the story at BYU
.
We are days away for the BIGGEST sporting event in the USA.
More $$$$ revenue from advertisements than the World Series and playoffs; the Super Bowl and playoffs...you get the picture.

The 'Big Dance' is huge.

BYU, #2.....yup....#2 in the country....stands to make huge, huge $$$$ in advancing through the tournament...suspends it's top player for a violation of the 'honor code' which has turned out to be pre-marital sex.

I know which school just went up notches and notches and notches in my book.

Professor Bailey turned his "Sociology of Sexuality" class into a joke. Anybody who has never seen a female orgasm can go to countless sites on the Internet or to the video store. Sociology focuses on "society" and there's more than enough to contemplate there relating to human sexuality public health problems, advertising and government policy. He might have lost his mind and summarily should be dismissed.

There is a certain element in education that just likes to shock people. I think that it is just sort of a "power" thing.
