Hey Friends,

I received a question via private e-mail asking about how many standard push-ups would one Push-Up on the Warrior Power T's equal. Truth to tell, I don't think that there is an accurate way to compare the two. At least not for me. The Warrior Power T's bring such a totally different dimension to the Push-Up due to the stabilization of all the ancillary muscles that I don't see a valid comparison as really possible. With Warrior Power T's even the biceps and forearms are worked in a way that not even standard or rotating handles can remotely duplicate. But if you guys can think of a ratio I'm certainly open to it.

For me it is about 2:1, when comparing numbers executed, but that is after mastering the Power T's. In the beginning it was more like 4:1 or higher.

Even with that comparison, as you point out it is somewhat of an apples vs oranges situation, as the T's involve so much more than standard Push Ups.

Hey Free,

Thank You. I know that you are right on the mark for sure that it changes as one gains expertise with the Power T's. And you're also right about it being like apples and oranges. Both are fruit and roughly the same size but that's pretty much the end of the comparison.

Free and John,

I agree with your response. I have difficulty explaining to others that as your body learns and adapts exercising on the Ts changes, it actually feels like a different exercise to me. Can’t explain it, you just have to experience it.

I believe it's pretty hard to compare the 2 as well. I wouldn't even go far enough to correlate a number from one to the other. In large part because of what they've said about it being something learned over time. I was able to do 500 pushups beforei got the T's got them and couldn't do but 1 full one and with a lot of effort. So how's that for ratio? lol. Anyway, that's my 2 cents (though it seems like it's others too)
