Ninety-two-year-old Bennington native breaks six track records
Monday December 29, 2008

This year, on the day after Thanksgiving Bennington native Bob Matteson set the world record in his age class for the hundred meter dash. He also became the first runner of *any age to sweep six track records in a single age group.
Matteson is 92 years old. He's a public administration consultant who still shows up at his office most days. He started running in his late sixties while chauffering his daughter to a class at Bennington college.

hey Guys,

I encourage you to listen to this mans interview. He has the same kind of strength and vibrancy in his voice as well as obvious quick thinking whit that Noel Johnson had. Really someone to admire. Thanks for posting this GB. Absolutely great.
