My daughter showed me the trailer for the new Conan movie. It looked much truer to the original stories than the Arnold movies. Don't know if I will see it not though. I was a big Robert E. Howard fan when I was a young man, but older, and hopefully wiser, I am not sure all that blood and thunder stuff is healthy for the psyche. We'll see. Lauren wants to go see it.

Saw the trailer online, looks good. I love Science Fiction and read the Conan books also as a kid. Yeah it looks truer to the books then Arnold, his Conan movies are so 1980s now lol. I am a movie-aholic and was always addicted to good films since a kid. Going to the Rialto in New York for the Saturday and Sunday afternoon kids matinee was great stuff.

Hey Mike,
I saw the second Arnold movie at the theatre and got bored midway through and left. It was so different from Robert E. Howard's Conan. It didn't even make a good Marvel comic story. But, I grew reading R.E.H. and Edgar Rice Burroughs and was biased.
By the way, have you ever seen the movie about R.E.H. called "The Whole Wide World?"

Greg never saw the REH Movie the Whole Wide World.
Saw the new Conan movie and loved it, good acting and a script. Oddly it bombed at the Box Office and only made 10 Million the first weekend, must have been a load of bad reviews by the sissy Reviewers in the Media. They hate any film with action.
