It usually takes me about 35 minutes to do all of the A, B, or C Isos. I've usually used the full 12 seconds in the second part of each isometric. The part for which John recommends holding for 7-12 seconds. I'm reconsidering that based on results I've read about on this forum, as well as a very limited experiment that I recently did. I'm likely to hold each at 100% of perceived maximum for 6 seconds.
I'd love to do all of the power breathing between sets that the IPR book recommends, but that would extend the workout to much more than an hour.

I've been using the 6 second holds for awhile and they work great. I think it takes me about 10-15 minutes to do the Dynaflex routine from start to finish and if I do the traditional type isos I usually whip through them in about the same period of time. I just go from one exercise to the next after taking a couple of deep breaths.
