After reading the post from tim allen about using all three training protocols, and the pyramid posts, I decieded to try something similar. Here is what this week has been.
day 1- VRT, DVR whole body workouts, 1 set per body part,x10, then 1 set per body part with a different exercise x 10
day 2- classic isometrics in position A
day 3- pyramid push ups with feet elevated, 2,4,6,8,10,8,6,4,2
pyramid pull ups with 4 different grips 1,2,1 (i used a chair under my feet when needed)
pyramid hindu squats 10,15,20,15,10
I really like the pyramid for the squats. I havent worked the legs much lately, and I was sore for 2 days. Next workout I should be able to up the numbers and add another tier to the pyramid. Goal for the next workout is 10,15,20,25,20,15,10
Day 4--off
Day 5- isometric powerflexs(all)
Day 6- DVR/VRT
Day 7- we'll see, may need a day of rest, or wait until the next day to rest
