Hi All,

I watched the 'Ip Man' movie yesterday and found it an excellent and moving film. I didn't realise how hard life was back in those day's, I mean you learn about wartime living in School etc, but sometimes you forget.

Looking forward to part two later in the year.

Here's the trailer for anyone interested:-

Is it in theaters? I haven't seen it advertised. I've also seen the trailer and it looks fantastic. The scene against the group of karateka is intense! Donnie Yen seems to have really gotten into Wing Chun for this.

It's not in the cimema here in the UK, don't know about anywhere else. I watched it on youtube. If you type 'Ip Man 1' you'll find it, it's in 11 parts so you'll have to watch it like that.

I can't wait for the actual DVD though, as soon asit's out I'm going to buy it.

Apparently it only took him 9 months to learn the full Wing Chun system, but I bet that was around 8 hours a day, every day. Plus Donnie has a good background & skill in Kung Fu.

Hope you enjoy it

Kenpopaul;

I saw the film this weekend. We had snow and ice so it gave me some down time and I was able to wtch all 11 installments.
Excellent film! Donnie Yen really looks great as the Wing Chun master.
Thanks again;
