I haven't been around too much as I had been recovering from surgery. About a year and a half ago, I started suffering from what turned out to be TIAs or basically mini-strokes. I was having two to three per week for about a year. I am a Papa Johns manager and I was having them usually during my shift and would have to work through it and just continue with mt shift.

The doctor who diagnosed me during a cardio cathetor stated I had a 95% blockage is my left carotid artery and a full blockage in the heart. They addressed the neck first with Carotid Endarterectomy (http://www.vascularweb.org/patients/NorthPoint/Carotid_Endarterectomy.html). They attempted to put a stent in my heart a week before Halloween but the cardiologist couldn't get it through. I was in Tulsa at the time. I left Tulsa and moved back to Atlanta. I was left with the option of a single bypass surgery. I was not looking forward to having my chest cracked open..I found a new cardiologist who said he didn't see the blockage as being as severe as the first and he says he can place a stent in me and get it to go through. I had been restricted from exercise and am now just getting the go ahead to start again. Sorry for being long winded.

I am planning using the M7 together with the 5 tibeten rites. I got Ted Skups pushup book for Christmas and think I am going to focus on them as well. I am very weak now and can only manage to do five or six at a time.

Tiger Moves would be a good place to start. Start slow and with light resistance and your strength will grow with you as you progress.
