The blocks also allow the chest to descend to or below the level of the hands.

Monday's numbers.

39 push-ups 10" MAX--30% Increase from my last two weeks MAX:30 reps.
30-60% Super Blitz Push-up Pyramid
150 crunches
100 squats

Don't get discouraged if you do not see an increase EVERY WEEK. Use the plateau to stabilize: work on form. And then, the next week may present you with a LEAP!
I am thrilled to be performing feet elevated push-ups again!

MIchael,

Actually, my 3rd week, however, I am doing week two a second time!
So, 30-60%, and then 40-70% repeated 3 times.
And, yes I am performing the Super Blitz Pyramids twice a day (Today was 40-70%: pretty intense!)
I have also elevated my feet 16" above my hands.

Monday's numbers.

40 push-ups 16" MAX reps: Week 4 Super Blitz Push-ups Pyramid (actually, using week three's program)
30-60 pyramid
300 crunches
250 squats


We have almost cut meat out of our lifestyle. Still eating boiled cage-free hen eggs and some cheese. Gaining strength every day! I was able to increase my squats from 2 100 rep sets to 2 125 rep sets.

Onward and upward!

Remember to enjoy the journey!

Don't fear or fret over plateaus. Enjoy "the view" before moving on.
Incremental increases are permanent; hugh leaps are burdens to maintain.
Allow your body to grow into your increases.

Week 15.
Monday's numbers.

This week, I switched to pull-up/chin Super Blitz Pyramids.
This is MUCH more intense than the push-up pyramid. I definitely feel the pump in my upper body!
This routine will be an excellent complement to the push-up pyramid.
At this point, I believe I will stay with the 30-60% pyramids.
I am spacing the pull-ups/chins with two sets of 150 crunches and two sets of 100 squats.

25 pull-ups MAX
30-60 pyramid (9, 12. 15, 18, 15, 12, 9: 90 + 25 = 115 TOTAL)
300 crunches
200 squats
PM
30-60 pyramid

I am back to a power circuit workout this week.

24 pull-ups
150 crunches
30 push-ups 16"
100 squats
24 chins
150 crunches
30 push-ups 16"
100 squats

Monday, I felt the effects of raising my hands on a roller-coaster and being slammed into my seat at the bottom of a drop and being beaten in the back seat of another coaster. I believe my roller-coaster days are over. I feel good today and am satisfied with this morning's workout.
