Hello Everyone,

I was in 5th grade when I saw the infamous Jayne Mansfield issue of Playboy. From that point forward I developed a desire for porn. I wonder how many young kids were like me? I wonder how many got started down the path to enslavement as the result of Playboy Magazine?

When I was in 7th grade I actually started to read the articles and the philosophy of playboy. To a young kid that knew no better it seemed that Hugh Hefner really was living the American dream. But that was all a short lived lie. On September 27th of 2017, Hugh Hefner had an appointment with the judge of the Universe and this time there was no one to plead his case. Unless...

Bottom line: This is a great article that Doc Moore sent me. Definitely worth a read.

John,
I am not going to beat myself up for a youthful appreciation for pictures of attractive women, neither should you. I think that appreciation makes us well within the norm. I think that the good Lord created us with an overwhelming biological need to procreate and finding women sexually attractive is necessary for us as a species. On the other-hand, the grandfather type seriously hitting on a 30 year old the other day was an embarrassment.
Hefner was a successful businessman, who like many successful men didn't spend enough time with his family and winds up basically alone in his old age.
Like Willie Nelson, it seems like Hef outlived his Dick. Hefner surrounded himself with gold-digging attractive women until his demise. It would appear that his libido had long since left the building, but his image demanded that he still project himself as a playboy.
The average American male has a 77 year life expectancy so he beat that by 14 years. I don't think that Hefner is or was a saint, but neither was he a particularly evil man. Once you got beyond the pictures, many of the articles in his magazine were well written and first rate.
With the advent of the internet his product appears to have run it's course.

Hey Tim,

I agree with everything you have written right down to the grandfather hitting on the young waitress. That sickening to see and an embarrassment.
