I'm getting this started as a way to be held more accountable, both by myself and others.

Over recent weeks I’ve read all of the responses to my threads, as well as a host of others. It’s become painfully obvious that I’ve been “stuck” in the mode of overthinking and trying to come up with the “perfect” program. What I really need to do is just plain DO something/anything.

My family and I are about to set out on our annual family trip.

In the past I’ve almost always planned to workout daily, or at least a good part of the time we’re gone. Seldom has that taken place. So, this time I’m going into the trip with a simpler mind-set. I’m going to take John’s advice and walk, probably with the dog, wearing the weight vest. I think this more simplistic plan will be more manageable, and get me back on track for a daily “routine”.

It was raining when I was going to walk. And, it gets too hot and humid later in the day down here.

Today, the pushups and squats were done faster, one rep per inhale or exhale.
