Hey Friends,

I received an e-mail asking me if I personally follow G.U.T.S.

Answer: You bet I do but with a difference.

Here's the deal. G.U.T.S. is the single best and most comprehensive 'Foundational Body Sculpting/Bodybuilding Strength and Fitness Training Routine" in existence. Minute for minute nothing compares to it. Nobody would be capable of achieving the highest level of G.U.T.S. as outlined in the program and perform the foundational GUTS program in 24 minutes without being in the best Lithe, Lean and Sculpted condition of their lives. I follow it daily but I add more. I perform an Average of 360 Atlas Power Press Push-Ups (atlas III) each day doing 7 X 52. Twice each week I go for fifteen sets and perform 777 reps. Why? Because I like being in awesome shape.

Compared to a lot of you young guys I'm an old dude that will turn 60 on October 25th this year but I am in awesome shape. I believe the single best exercise for the entire musculature as well as the heart and especially the lungs is the Atlas Power Press Push-Up. I do not perform partial range reps but perform all reps full range with my hands on 12" boxes and my feet at exactly 37" with 23" between the boxes. I go all the way down so that my chest is below hand level for a great stretch and then all the way up just short of lockout. These I perform very fast unless I'm intentionally slowing way down and only performing 30 to 40 reps in a set and performing 10 sets slow in order to get my 360 reps.

Bottom line: I don't waste my time doing exercises that don't count or that cause pain and neither should any of you.

Well I do not know what GUTS is but the 777 push ups is impressive for anyone of any age.How did you build up to this as at the moment 10x 20 standard push ups is my max. I rest 1-2 mins between sets.Thanks.
