Last week I came across an interesting book titled "Instantaneous Personal Magnetism" by Edmund Shattesbury that was first published in 1926 and has enjoyed numerous reprintings since.
Shattesbury was a very prolific writer who authored over 100 books on mind power and self help subjects.
Personal Magnetism is a term that we don't hear very much about today, but was very popular around the turn of the last century when this book was written - Napoloen Hill emphasized the concept in many of his writings.
Personal Magnetism has been described in many ways such as charisma, thought projection, or just plain force of personality.
The reason that I mention this book is that a primary technique that the author recommends to develop Personal Magnetism is the use of tension or FMT type exercises.
So we have one more mental and emotional quality that can be developed by this demystified "yogic" type exercise.
