"Thought is the most tremendous force in the universe." W. Clement Stone

Focused Muscular Tension is unique among exercise systems.

It is the only form of exercise that allows you to direct Cosmic Life Force, the basis of all life in the universe, into your body and direct it to any specific areas that you may choose.

This universal intrinsic energy has been called by various names by different cultures throughout history.

Focused Muscular Tension [FMT] applies the "inner concentration" principle of yoga by using visualization and muscular tension to direct your thought impulses along your neural highway to the center of the mind which is the source of all personal forces and consciousness.

This form of exercise had been around for thousands of years in yoga and the martial arts, however, it's ability to help people adapt to changing economic and social conditions was first recognized by Alois P. Swoboda.

Thought is the controlling force in mastering this most powerful of all personal powers.

"Thoughts are things.............Our minds become magnetized with the dominating thoughts we hold in our minds and these magnets attract to us the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts."
-- Napoleon Hill

Hey Gordon.

Your post goes hand in hand with Bomber Dan's . Not only is this method of exercise superior for building the body but it is also superior for healing the body. If anyone has over stress injuries Focus Muscular Tension Exercises will not only help them maintain and build strength and shape but also accelerate healing due to the increased blood flow of highly oxygenated blood.

"Prana is the cosmic force of life and it's influence is to be found in every vibration on earth.......

In exercising we get acquainted with the power of consciousness. We even attain the ability to produced currents of energy at will and direct them to any point of our body through simple concentration of thought........

The oldest muscle- building Indian 'Dhandal and Bhasky' exercises differ from western gymnastics primarily in that they do not consist of thoughtless repetitions but of exercises perfromed with great interest. While exercising our will power or imagination, we observe the moving muscles and send a flow of prana to them........

If for example we slowly bend our right arm, consciously watch this movement, and imagine at that very moment, a large quantity of prana is flowing into our biceps and simultaneously supplying our whole arm with blood-we have already achieved the result.....

Let us try this on other parts of our body: if we use our imagination to send vital force to various parts of the body, persistently developing strength, and watch our muscles during our exercises or watch them in a mirror, we will soon build a body so beautiful that even athletes will admire it.......

Everything depends on our imagination, our will, and on whether we have faith. Everything in which we have faith succeeds. BELIEVE IN THAT WHICH IS NOT, IN ORDER THAT IT MAY BE! The imagination is the creative power in our hands."
