Hey Friends,

I have received an e-mail from an idiot. This guy says that he read someplace that I have told people that eating soy makes men gay. THAT'S FLATOUT BIZARRE. I mean really bizarre.

I have stated that scientifically validated studies indicate that soy is estrogenic for men. In other words that soy has been linked to elevated estrogen levels if it is over consumed. Estrogen is the female hormone so I suppose one could say that it could have feminizing effect on men if it is over consumed. But that's that.

I never once insinuated that consuming soy makes men gay. It would be insane for anyone to make such an absurd statement.

That is one of the weirder things I've heard you misquoted on. However, there are internet goofballs with an axe to grind and time on their hands who like to spread stuff like that where they think it will stick.
