The Power Within

Human beings are microcosms of the larger macrocosm - the universe, and contain all of it's mysteries.

Thought about this for a few minutes and thought I would add....

Human Beings were created and have the breath of life from something outside of the box, the creator of the box and all that is in it and it's mysteries. We were not created by the Macrocosm of the stuff inside of the box, and we will never truly understand the mysteries of what is in the box until we know the creator of the box.

The answers do not lie within the box... Contrary to what Carl Sagan stated.. we are not "made of star stuff"

Mathew 6-6

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Isn't that a quote from daoism?

It may be. That creation theory exists in various philosophies and religions including the Judeo/Christian tradition:

I remember reading that The Mighty Atom, the famous old time Jewish Strongman, used to visualize “light” pure energy flowing into the muscles that he wanted to influence. He also would visualize his arms as a fire hoses and visualize water under pressure flowing into them. Alois P .Swoboda referred to this FORCE as “Conscious Energy”.

I like the way that the following article makes a distinction between the body [the vehicle] and the “Life Force” [the power source].

“According to the Zohar, one of the central classic works of the Kabbalah, man is a microcosm embodying all of the mysteries of the universe. Joe knew this to be true, though the writings indicated that the" Infinite Light" was beyond human understanding...............

The Hebrew mystical writings, the Kabbalah, refers to 'the Inner Light'.' The Orientals have a name for it: 'chi ' in the Chinese, and ' ki ' in the Japanese . It was the quest of this power which filled Joe Greenstein's hours and days. The spirituality which he sought was pragmatic, for the higher, his understanding, the greater the result in his physical performance. His muscles, bones, and tendons had been tenaciously prepared, but they were only the vehicle. It was his ' life-force' which drove the machine; he had trained. the machine not to break”

I have the book and have heard that too. Swoboda had a lot to say but hard to really comprehend the true meaning behind it. Chi, Ki, is just part of the same source but from a perspective depending on the culture. It's really more anlbout how we utilize it and use it to the degree that suits our personalities. I could be wrong but energy is another source of how we precieve the universe and how to tap into it without going into full detail about it. Farmer Burns had similar ideas about how to use certain energy through his techniques of deep breathing. All in all its what we see it as as oppose to what the rest of the world sees.

Expanding on the same thought:

Ancient philosophers theorized, and modern science agrees, that everything in the universe is made up of energy. All solid forms including human beings represent frozen forms of energy, Throughout the centuries this energy has been referred to by various names [ Ki, Chi ,Prana, life force, the ancient Hebrews referred to it as infinite light, etc] The nineteenth century physical culture pioneer Alois P. Swoboda referred to it as “Creative Energy” and said it was the basis of all living things in the universe. The individualized part of “Creative Energy”, that is unique to each of us ,he called “Conscious Energy”. Every living thing has it's own “Conscious Energy” with no two conscious energies being exactly alike.

" Sometimes men speak lightly of the intangibles - the things which they cannot perceive through any of their five senses, and when we hear them, it should remind us that all of us are controlled by forces which are unseen and intangible."
