Weapon X, as allways great to see you posting, I have a question, in the living strength section, you posted that walking really leaned you out as you got older, well that seems to be the same sistuation for me, I will be 55, in 3 weeks, and as I have gotten older, it seems that walking has really helped me with leaning out some, how much walking do you do a day? your numbers on your exercises are great, keep up the great work keep on posting, I am also a huge fan of hindu push ups myself, they dont bother my shoulders, and they are a great total body exercise, take care.,

Still love to include the circuits. My goal is to do 500 straight Tiger Bend Squats, 250 Tiger Bend Pushups, 100 Situps, 20 pullups, 20 dips and 10 handstands. I think if I could do all these in one workout I would be a force to be reckoned with.

There is no magic bullet. Just watch what goes in your mouth, work hard and have fun.

My own version of GUTS, based on some experimentation and things I like to do:

74 Hindu Pushups
100 Abs
20:00 incline (10% grade) hike, wearing a weighted vest= 1.06 miles
26 Hindu Pushups
100 abs
12/12 milo curls--- max sets of chins will get rotated in and out

Sticking with weighted walking for awhile to see how that goes, maybe it will lower my inflammatory response from too much intense training.

Hindu pushups are "forming" my chest muscles in a way regular pushups never have. My traps have also gotten noticeably bigger. A suitable substitute will be Atlas 3.

Want to keep the workouts to 35 minutes or less. If I bust my hump its doable, and SUSTAINABLE

Wednesday January 15, 2014.

Nothing special today, I wanted to try out my new routine of short intense cardio done in intervals. 2 or 3 minutes of hard work by 1 minute of active rest for 4-6 rounds. (16-24 mins max) followed by 5-10 sets of pushups (all varieties including dips) superset with abs (all varieties). Then finishing with chins, pullups or tuck lever holds. A friend of mine said tuck lever holds will greatly increase your pullup strength.

What I set out to do today was Step Ups on two step stools i got from home depot. In the aforementioned interval style. Well I got into it and tripped about 30 steps in and sent everything flying.

Needless to say I was very angry and just decided to do simple circuit of squats, pushups and flutterkicks alternated with crunches. 10 sets of 40 reps each in 28 minutes..........
