I decided to vary the grips while performing the hanging leg raises to target more of the muscles of the shoulders and back.

TIP: If you are performing these exercises, contracting the arm, shoulder, and back muscles before you lift your feet over your head will eliminate swing.

I modified/shortened this workout when I felt an odd sensation in lower abdomen while performing the close pull-up grip hanging leg raises. Always listen to your body!
