Hey Guys!

Lately I have been thinking about how many of us cut off our blood flow while we are sleeping. I tend to sleep on my left side so when I wake up in the morning my left arm is numb because of the lack of blood flow. This could be one of the reasons that my left arm is not developing as fast as my right since the most vital part of its growing and healing process is hampered because of a lack of blood flow.

Any thoughts on this?

Hey Paul_Duval,

You are one very sharp young man. Everything you are stating is obviously true. With that in mind I think the best thing we can do when we arise is to immediately practice the Miracle Seven with light tension while breathing as deeply and as completely as possible. Our goal in doing so would be to increase the blood flow of highly oxygenated blood into all of our muscles.

Once again Paul, you have made some excellent observations.

Thank you John. And that sounds like a great idea to do light tension M7 right when I wake up. I will definitely have to try that out. Now that I think of it, I'm surprised it didn't occur to me earlier to do that.

I had a similar problem several years ago, and when I went to my doctor about it he told me that the numbness was not due to cutting off blood flow (which is what I -- like you -- thought it was), but rather due to putting pressure on nerves. In either case, by being a little more careful with how I place my arms when sleeping I have been able to eliminate the numbness isse.
