Hey Friends,

Not only is Manuka Honey the most delicious honey I have ever tasted and enjoyed eating it is also extraordinary in it's antibacterial and healing benefits. In fact, it has been used with extraordinary success when other types of antibiotics have failed. For example, my friend and co-author of 'Living Strength The Vegan Way," Rod Fisher shares the following example in Chapter Sixteen;

If you need a sweetener while you’re
in transition, honey is an option, but is a
transition food. Consumed in very small
quantities, it is not a bad thing. I recommend
manuka honey, which comes from the rain
forests in New Zealand and is not as sweet
as most other honeys. Start with only a
teaspoon, eating it with a fatty food such as
nuts, to slow the release of sugars. As soon
as you can though, it would be preferable
for you to transition to consuming raisins
or dried figs or other sweet fruit. (Although
we usually think of honey as something to
eat, you should note that it also has topical
healing properties. Several years ago, I
discovered that my uncle had had a bedsore
for over a year, and none of the topical
medications that the doctor had prescribed
had done him any good. So I sent him some
manuka honey, which he applied to the
wound. It was gone without a trace within
two weeks.
I use it for scratches, scrapes,
burns, sores, etc.).

John, I have learned a lot from your books over the years and the way I see it is this is your most important book yet. It is clear the Living Strength series has books focused on exercise, and others focused on nutrition; I was wondering, will there be books focused on Christianity to cover the spiritual side?

Hello Cool Hand Trey,

Yes, though I will never force feed my faith to anyone else.

Hi John,

I understand. I know you have a lot planned for the Living Strength series and I'm looking forward to it.

Hello nehapoole,

The first thing I would recommend is that your friend see a dermatologist and get evaluated
