I found this interesting clip on YouTube and thought forum members might enjoy these bodyweight exercises from the legendary Joseph Pilates:

(Embedding is disabled for this video so you'll have to click through to YouTube.)

Note how Pilates is doing Charles Atlas-style situps and leg raises at around 0:30-1:00. At around 3:00 he appears to be doing some DVR and posing. Also note Mr. Pilates athletic, functional physique.

Hi Duff,

Great video. Pilates had remarkable mobility of the hips and thighs. And yes, he was doing DVR movements. I was particularly impressed with the DVR boxing. As well, that dance he did towards the end looked very similar to a Chinese Wushu form. Definitely a fit and athletic guy.

He seems like a fun guy. Check this one out, where he has weird competitions with friends. His tall, skinny friend (Ted Shawn?) matches him equally and they both seem to be having a lot of fun.
