By 'eck! King Arthur's court of Camelot really did exist and was actually in YORKSHIRE claims professor
•Retired university professor Peter Field believes that Camelot was in Yorkshire
•Was looking at Roman map of Britain when he spotted the name 'Camulodunum'
•The site is on the road linking Chester and York, which was strategically ideal
•Arthur Pendragon was a ruler recorded in history as Arthwys of the Pennines who ruled from the old Roman garrisons of Hadrian's Wall and the City of York

That is really an interesting article. I have always had an interest in history and particularly in ancient history. I just finished reading [ or I should say skimming] a book titled "The Lost Tomb Of King Arthur" by Graham Phillips.I say skimming because the book has a lot of assumptions in it that were basically just deductive reasoning so I tended to skip over them pretty quickly

You don't have to go back very far until you are before the era of written history where most of the information was passed by oral tradition or word of mouth before it was written. Even much written history was spread by word of mouth for generations before it was written down.

In the book that I mentioned earlier they haven't actually found King Arthur's tomb for sure yet,but believe that they have and hope further proof will come the future.

I still find this stuff fascinating as people are the most interesting thing in the world and so is our history
