Thank you for your encouragement!
I am dedicating the rest of the day (Monday) to WPT push-ups to rebuild my wrists, grip, and forearms specifically, my upper body generally.

Back to Power Calisthenics today.

20 close-grip pull-ups
180 crunches*
30 push-ups 20"
100 squats
30 push-ups 20"

*6 different crunches, thirty reps each

I appreciate crunches because they do not compromise the lower back. If you have or have had a back injury, look into crunches. They focus intensely on the abdominal muscles and produce wonderful cuts, chisel marks, or whatever you want to call definition.

My wrists have recovered enough for me to return to push-ups. I am thankful to be back up to 30 rep sets,
and 20 rep sets on pull-ups and chins.

The above is a wonderful total body workout for me without pushing any boundaries.

Incorporated Ultimate Push-ups pyramid routine into workout today. My push-up station consists of stacking plastic steps that elevate my feet 10" above my hands which are on two foam yoga blocks. I like the blocks because they give a little reducing pressure on my palms. If you have some, give them a try. They are the best push-up stands I have experienced.

I interlaced squats with the push-ups and bookended the workout with crunches.

30 push-ups 10" TEST SET
150 crunches
25 squats
9 push-ups 10"
25 squats
12 push-ups 10"
25 squats
15 push-ups 10"
25 squats
18 push-ups 10"
25 squats
21 push-ups 10"
25 squats
18 push-ups 10"
25 squats
15 push-ups 10"
25 squats
12 push-ups 10"
25 squats
9 push-ups 10"
25 squats
150 crunches

Using the WPTs in the pyramid today.

30 push-ups 10" MAX
30-60% pyramid
1000 crunches
200 squats

i didn't do all the crunches at once like JP can, I interspersed them throughout the push-ups in the pyramid.

G.U.T.S. is a System designed by JP for General Universal Training described in G.U.T.S. and Ultimate Push-ups.
Miracle Seven are seven self resistance exercises described in The Miracle Seven and demonstrated under the exercises tab above.

Tim, your doing a great job with your workout, your numbers are great, your right about the yoga blocks, I need to buy me a pair, I have used them in the past and like you said they are easy on the palms and I like the feel of them on the wrists also, and they are pretty cheap to buy, Im going to buy some later today and use them tonight, take care and great to see you posting again.
