I think the best place to start would either be Pushing Yourself to Power or G.U.T.S. Or both!

PYTP is John's first book and explains the entire Transformetrics system. It's a really fantastic book, on top of being about training it's also got some good history and is just an entertaining read.

G.U.T.S. is a smaller book that contain a complete program for a 24 minute foundational exercise circuit.
