Believe me, lean is what you want, thats why I admire Bruce Lee and of course John and others on here, your profile pic looks great, just stay consistent and take rest days as needed. Back about 20 years ago I could only do 3 pull-ups. Being a PE teacher this really upset me so at that point I started doing them more. It just takes doing them 3-4 days a week. start with 2 every minute and build up or do pyramids. John has posted some pyramids on here so give it a search.

I just did 10 rounds of 2 pullups each minute (and added in 5 pushups each round as well) while packing up our house to move! We're moving on Saturday, so I thought I'd multitask instead of passively resting.

Thanks for the advice--I love that the men on this forum are getting stronger and fitter as they age. It's inspiring to me, especially since I started out so weak and unathletic as a kid.
