Hi All,

Last Friday, Nov 30th I had my rt knee scoped for a torn medial meniscus. I had very little swelling walked out of the surgery center, was able to walk around the next day even do my 500 AIIIs and 100 pull ups and some FMT and FMR. I am almost a week post surgery and have just a tad bit of swelling and no pain. The pain I had before surgery is gone. I see the surgeon on Monday and will discuss if running is a possibility in 3-4 weeks.

I really believe the reason I have recovered so quick is of course God and also the 600-900 squats/ lunges I was doing every week for the last umpteen months.

I am now doing my own rehab using FMT squats, hamstrings etc. and some wall sits a couple times a week. Not running until I can do bw squats again with ease and know that I can handle the pounding, starting very slow.

I know some on here have had surgeries. I really believe due to doing GUTS and the other stuff we promote here, has helped me heal very fast allowing my body to handle the trauma of getting scoped.

I hope to be able to run 3/4 days a week 3-5 miles, but am in no hurry.

I will keep you posted.

Monty

Thanks guys, just thankful I can walk without pain and did some 3/4 easy squats yesterday and knee felt great, just going easy on the legs but can always do push ups, pull ups etc. Thank God for Transfometrics, being strong is better than being able to run long.
